Welcome to the Ellison Library!!!! The goal of the Ellison Library Program is to provide access to current, diverse materials and teach information literacy to give the school community the tools necessary for self-directed learning. The library program also collaborates with the staff by providing resources and instruction to support their curriculum and meet the needs of diverse learners. Lastly, the library is a place that fosters a love of reading in order to develop lifelong readers.
About me... My name is Kenny Saul and I am Ellison's Library Media Specialist. I am super excited to return to Ellison and get to know the students at Ellison even better this year! This is my fifteenth year in education and my eighth year as an elementary librarian. Previously, I taught social studies in grades 6-8 for seven years. My passion for reading, information literacy and teaching kids encouraged me go back to school and earn my Masters in School Library Media.
